The Mission Darkness Faraday Bag is a sealed pouch with a metal-lined fabric that stops a phone from connecting to cell towers, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while it is closed inside. It is for the times you want the phone fully silent, rather than on a weaker network.
What to look for: a pouch large enough for your phone with its case, a closure that seals fully each time, and a clear description of how the bag is built. Check it yourself: put the phone inside, seal it, and call the number. If the phone still rings, the seal or the bag is not doing its job.
A phone in the bag cannot ring or receive messages, so do not use it on days you expect an urgent call. The bag only works while it is closed, and a phone left outside it is unaffected.
